Welcome to our first Wednesday veg box newsletter! As you should be aware now, we’ve changed our delivery days, here’s a reminder:

• Wednesday: Ayrshire, Glasgow south
• Thursday: Stirling, Edinburgh
• Friday: collections from our shop, Glasgow north

We have great news in that our building warrant and planning application for our Big Plan have been approved! We have relaunched our loan stock offer, so if you’d like to invest us, register here.

If you haven’t already, join our veg box community in our Facebook group, and enter our Month of Munch competition by posting a photo of your veg box creation with the tags #locavoremm and #locavorevegbox. For recipe suggestions, check out our veggiepedia.

For those of you who will receive your veg box on Friday, our online shop on the Open Food Network is open until 11pm tonight.

As it’s the last week of the month, we’re delivering treat boxes. There’s sweet or savoury to choose from, both containing £20 of delights.

In the veg boxes this week:

small: potatoes, carrots, onions, kohl rabi, cavolo nero, leeks

standard: potatoes, carrots, onions, kohl rabi, cavolo nero, leeks, cauliflower, little gem lettuce

large: potatoes, carrots, onions, kohl rabi, cavolo nero, leeks, cauliflower, savoy cabbage, little gem lettuce, portobello mushrooms

extra large: potatoes, carrots, onions, kohl rabi, butternut squash, cavolo nero, leeks, celery, cauliflower, savoy cabbage, little gem lettuce, portobello mushrooms

*UPDATE* In the Thursday/Friday standard, large & extra large boxes, the cauliflower may be replaced with tomatoes, squash or cabbage due to quality control.
