Hello Folks,
A big thank you to the customers who have been donating to the Good Food Fund regularly! We use your donations to buy fresh fruit and veg for our partner organizations who work with people experiencing food poverty. At the moment our main partners are Queen’s Park Govanhill Parish Church Foodbank, Govan Community Project, The Space (Govanhill), The Marie Trust and Central and West Integration Network. As of this week we will also start supplying veg to Gal Gael who provide a hearty meal at lunch time for their trainees. Your donations make all this happen!
We’re very pleased to see some of our own produce making it to the veg boxes again. This week we have Westland Winter kale in the large and extra large veg boxes, and salad mix in the supplementary bags.
As part of our monthly special delivery schedule, we’re delivering cheese and vegan boxes this week. If you’d like to add one to your order, drop us an email. You can find more information about our monthly specials here.
