Hello Folks,
Congratulations to Maxime, who won February’s Munch of the Month competition and a hamper of wares from the shop, with his veg box creation of spaghetti squash with puttanesca-style sauce made with leeks, garlic, mushrooms, carrots and tinny tomatoes plus some olives and sundried tomatoes (pictured below).

The Good Food Fund would like to pass on a big thank you from Queen’s Park Govanhill Parish Church. They run a foodbank on Thursdays that, unlike most of the big foodbanks, anyone can attend without a referral. On Sundays the church also provides a free hot meal. Both of these services are used mainly by people with homelessness backgrounds, many of whom live in an emergency accommodation nearby that does not offer cooking facilities. We send fruit to both of these projects every week, giving them access to at least a small amount of fresh produce. Your generous donations make this possible.
