When you know where something came from, and the work that went into it, you feel differently about it. You appreciate it more, and maybe you enjoy it more too. Chard Week is about that too, the sense of connection: everything you eat had work put into it, everything you eat came from somewhere, and isn’t it interesting to know just where?
