You can have up to three veg items and up to three fruit items on your opt-out list; these will then be omitted from your boxes and replaced with an item of equal value.
At this time, we are asking that you request an item to be added to your opt-out list only if necessary; that is, if you are unable to use the item for whatever reason, and it would go to waste otherwise. We expect to be able to scale up opt-out lists by the end of the year, but for now please request only the opt-outs you need.
