Hello Folks,
There’s still time to enter September’s Munch of the Month competition, which you can do by posting a photo of your veg box creations to social media with the tags #locavoremm and #locavorevegbox.
We took another delivery of apples from the Centre for Stewardship at Falkland Estate in Fife this week. This time round, we have Red Windsors, which are a little more crisp than the Discovery apples.
As always, check out our veggiepedia for more information and ideas for what do with your veg. If you haven’t already, join our veg box community over on Facebook, where we share recipe suggestions with each other.
The Open Food Network is now open for orders to be delivered with next week’s veg boxes. We’ve extended the range to include produce from Chapel Farm, which at the moment consists of potatoes, onions, leeks, kohl rabi, white and savoy cabbages. The Red Winsdor apples are also available to order there too.
