Veg Box Newsletter w/c 01.01.18

Hello folks,

We hope you had a wonderful winter break and a fantastic Hogmanay!

It’s been a hectic yet exciting first week back for us at Locavore with our veg box headquarters and packing operation moving into the back of our new premises on the corner of Victoria Road and Calder Street.

This weekend, uplift of our living Christmas trees will be taking place for those of you who had your trees delivered. After collection, they will be taken up to our market garden at Left Field and planted there along with last year’s trees to form a windbreak and habitat for wildlife. Double check your emails (and the junk email folder) to find out whether your collection day is Saturday or Sunday. If you bought your tree at the shop, you can simply bring it back there where it will be uplifted by the Locavore van.

For those of you who receive monthly meat boxes, they will be delivered next week! To find out more about our monthly specials, click here.

Don’t forget to check out our Veggiepedia for vegetable trivia and recipe ideas.
