Hello Folks,

Our Locavore growers are extremely busy at the moment with an abundance of produce being harvested from the Locavore farms. Luckily for you, a lot of this produce is going straight into the veg boxes this week, with Locavore grown chard, kale, french beans, courgettes and parsley all making appearances. In July the Good Food Fund sent out £ 1730.52 worth of fruit and veg to our partners. Govan Community Project recently did a consultation with the people who come to their foodbank and found out that they would like to receive tomatoes as well as seasonal fruit such as strawberries and cherries. Thanks to your generous donations we have been sending these items over to GCP. The fact that we are able to offer an element of choice to our partners means that your donations don’t just fund fresh fruit and vegetables, but also help to enhance the dignity in emergency food projects.

We’ll be delivering cheese boxes and chilled vegan selections alongside our veg boxes this week. Find out what’s in them below.
