Hello Folks,

This week sees the long awaited return of onions to the veg boxes! We also see the return of potatoes from Chapel Farm. Here’s a little information about the farm:

“Chapel Organics is a family farm owned and ran by the Elder family for over 50 years. The farm is currently run by the father & son combination of Thomas Graham & Thomas Angus Elder. Chapel Farm is situated near the coastal town of North Berwick where fertile soils, long daylight hours and relatively frost free winters are ideal for producing the highest quality vegetables.”

Thank you to the customers who support the Good Food Fund. The fund sends fruit and veg to charities who work with people living in food poverty. We are keen to support projects that offer people a perspective beyond emergency food provision. Our partner Central and West Integration Network has been involving people who come to their community meal in the cooking. This new team of chefs is now preparing to host a pop up restaurant later this autumn. Some of the ingredients for their trial runs at the community meal are funded with your donations.
